The individuals who fulfill the below-mentioned basic eligibility criteria may apply for the following position: Position/Job Title General Manager - Retail Banking Group Reporting to • Group Chief - Retail Banking Group Location • Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Multan, Quetta Educational/ Professional Qualification • Minimum Graduation from a reputable HEC recognized University / Institution Candidates having Master's degree from HEC recognized University College/ Institution will be preferred. Experience • Minimum 15 years of Banking experience including 05 years in leadership role, preferably covering Retail Banking. Other Skills/ Expertisel Knowledge Required • Leadership Strategic Planning Team building, Interpersonal and Communication Skills • Coaching and Mentoring • Analytical skills, critical thinking and multi-tasking • Ability to work under pressure, problem solving skills and decision making Proven track record of exceeding targets, sound negotiation and selling skills • Take part as an active and effective member of the Leadership Team ensuring that the Bank's core values are embedded in the team. • Develop and ensure delivery of a strategy that allows the Regions and Branches to achieve the overall sales, revenue and profitability targets. Grow the books as per targets in all the business segments, for assets, liabilities, trade and ancillary business, Ensure a healthy and profitable inflow of new business with a focus on low cost core deposit and retention of existing clientele. • Develop and execute a strategy for converting loss making branches into profit through enhancement of business and reduction of expenses. • Meeting existing high net worth clients/potential clients to generate business. • Identify new business channels with potential opportunities and develop a business plan to commensurate their operations. Periodic visits of regions & branches to oversee and review overall business and branch operations. Review, evaluate and develop the capacity, function and capability of the branch network on continuous basis enabling the Bank to deliver services in line with world-class standards across Pakistan. Review credit assessment portfolio periodically and develop action plans to weed-out weak obligors thereby keeping non- performing loans at a minimum for each region & segment. • Ensure that the operations & business activities are conducted in compliance of banking laws, instructions, procedures and regulatory requirements to pre-empt attempts at the incidences of fraud. Monitor audit and compliance related matters and ensure that any gaps/ issues identified in audits are rectified. Review Audit Report of each region & segment periodically and to ensure timely resolution/ closure of audit observations and to enforce a strong message in the team for their non-recurrence. • Ensure succession planning for all critical positions. Monitor all KPIs of the business area and ensure that the evaluations of all staff to be in line with those KPIs. This should be done with the aim of being fair concerning the distribution of emoluments and elevations. Manage, motivate and upskill staff with the capat and required to deliver the objectives and create enabling environment wherein each staff is encouraged to add value to his/her personal development.
