Dr. Mubashar Hassan, Distinguished Old Ravian, instituted two merit scholarships for the
female PhD scholars of Persian and Urdu.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria:
1. Candidates will be selected on merit by the MHE/Selection Committee on the recommendation
of the Academic Department concerned.
II. Those female applicants who are not more than 28 years of age, and are eligible / appropriate to
pursue a PhD degree at the GC University Lahore according to the GCU rules and regulations, are
cligible to avail this scholarship,
Scholarship Terms and Conditions:
1. The fellowship will be offered for 3 years on full time basis and is extendable up to one
academic year in special circumstances on the recommendations of the Fellowship Committee
ii. The fellowship will be offered once in four years to a female applicant to pursue PhD research at
GCU on a full-time basis.
iii. It will cover GC University Lahore tuition fees and incidental rescarch expenses.
NOTE: The last date for the submission of application is 18-12-2020.
